Oregon-licensed speech language pathologists have a biennial license renewal with a December 31st deadline, odd years. Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. There are no limits on home study if ASHA approved, and there must be a post-test. Fifty (50%) of hours must relate to practice.
The pursuit of continuing education assures the highest possible standards for the speech language pathology profession. Participation in continuing education is a condition of licensure.
Professional Development Resources is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
