Ten (10) hours of continuing education (fifteen (15) if dual licensed) are required in order to renew a license. There is no limit on home study courses. A minimum of five (5) hours from Content Area 1 (professional) are required. ASHA approval is not required.

The main reason for continuing education is to assure the highest possible standards for the speech language pathology/audiology profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a requirement of licensing.

Professional Development Resources is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. See course website for number of ASHA CEUs, instructional level and content area. ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clincial procedures. CEUs are awarded by the ASHA CE Registry upon receipt of the CEU Participant Form from the ASHA Approved CE Provider.
