Wisconsin-licensed occupational therapists have a biennial license renewal with a May 31st deadline, odd years. Twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. All twenty-four hours are allowed from home study if AOTA approved.
The main purpose of continuing education is to ensure the highest possible standards for the occupational therapist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing requirement.
Professional Development Resources is an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)approved provider of continuing education (#3159). The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.
