The milk protein casein is a powerful carcinogen, and studies show diets based on animal products are more likely to cause cancer than those that are plant-based, nutrition researcher and author T. Colin Campbell told physicians in Portland, Maine. Mercy Hospital’s Dr. Jeffrey Rosenblatt, who invited Campbell to speak, says he wants the medical community to change how it thinks about nutrition in disease prevention and treatment.
