Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. All thirty hours are allowed from home study if CDR approved.

Continuing education ensures the top possible standards for the dietitian and nutritionist professions. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a condition of licensing.

Continuing Education Requirements

Nutritionists and dietitians licensed in the state of Washington DC have a license renewal every two years with a November 1st deadline. Thirty continuing education hours are required for license renewal, and all 30 hours can be earned from home study if CDR approved.
