Virginia-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Audiologists have an upcoming license renewal deadline of December 31, 2010. 30 hours of continuing education (CE) are required for renewal (45 hours if dual-licensed).

The Virginia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology requires that a minimum of 15 hours be earned from courses offered by approved sponsors, such as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

There is no limit on hours earned through online or home study coursework if the provider is ASHA-approved.
