Oklahoma Speech Language Pathologists Continuing Education and License Renewal

Oklahoma-licensed Speech Language Pathologists have an annual license renewal deadline of December 31st. Continuing education is due every two years, even years. Twenty (20) board approved continuing education hours are required in order to renew a license. All twenty hours are allowed from home study or online courses if ASHA approved. The board accepts ASHA approval of continuing education.

The top priority of continuing education is to ensure the highest standards for the speech language pathology profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing educational activities that will build upon existing competence and knowledge gained from previous educational experiences.

Professional Development Resources is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. Continuing Education Requirements
