Nevada Psychologists Continuing Education and License Renewal Information

Nevada-licensed psychologists have a biennial license renewal with a January 1st deadline, odd years. In order to renew a license in the state of Nevada, psychologists need thirty (30) hours of continuing education. Of the thirty hours, fifteen (15) hours are approved from home study. The board accepts APA approval of continuing education hours.

Continuing education ensures the highest possible standards for the psychologist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing educational activities that will build upon existing competencies gained from prior educational experiences.

Professional Development Resources is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Professional Development Resources maintains responsibility for all programs and content.
