North Dakota Speech Language Pathologists Continuing Education and License Renewal

North Dakota-licensed Speech Language Pathologists have an annual December 31st license renewal deadline. Ten (10) board approved continuing education hours are required to renew a license. Ten (10) hours of continuing education are allowed from home study (online courses). The board accepts ASHA approval of continuing education courses.

The main goal of continuing education hours is to ensure the highest standards for the speech language pathologist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing educational opportunities that will build upon existing competence and knowledge gained from prior educational experiences.
