New Jersey-licensed speech language pathologists have a biennial license renewal with an October 31st deadline, odd years. Twenty (20) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. Of the twenty hours, ten (10) hours are allowed from home study if ASHA approved.
Continuing education ensures the highest possible standards for the speech language pathologist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing condition.
Professional Development Resources is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
