Twenty-four hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. There is no limit on distance learning, and fifty percent of hours must be clinical.

The goal of continuing education is to provide the best possible standards for the occupational therapy profession. All occupational therapists are required to earn continuing education credits as a licensing condition.
