Montana-licensed occupational therapists have an annual license renewal with a June 15th deadline. Ten (10) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. All ten hours are allowed from home study if AOTA approved.

The main reason for continuing education is to assure the highest possible standards for the occupational therapist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a condition of licensure.

Continuing Education Requirements
