Nebraska Psychologists have a biennial license renewal with a January 1st deadline, odd years. Twenty-four hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. All 24 hours are allowed from home study. The board accepts APA approval of continuing education hours.
The purpose of continuing education is to assure the highest possible standards for the psychologist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing educational activities that will build upon existing competencies.
Professional Development Resources is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Professional Development Resources maintains responsibility for all programs and content.
Continuing Education Requirements
Nebraska-licensed psychologists are required as a condition of licensure to complete a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education every two years, odd years.
