Mississippi-licensed dietitians have a license renewal every two years with a March 31st deadline, odd years. Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required to renew a license. All of the thirty hours can be earned through home study. The board accepts CDR approval of continuing education hours.
The main reason for continuing education is to ensure the best possible standards for the dietitian. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a condition of license renewal.
