Delaware-licensed dietitians/nutritionists have a biennial license renewal with a May 31st deadline, odd years. Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required to renew a license every two years. Of the thirty hours, fifteen (15) hours are allowed from home study. Newly licensed dietitians and nutritionists will want to refer to the Delaware Board of Dietetics and Nutrition for additional continuing education and licensing information.
The main purpose of continuing education is to ensure the highest possible standards for the dietitian/nutritionist professions. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing requirement.
Professional Development Resources is a CPE Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR Provider #PR001). CPE accreditation does not constitute endorsement by CDR of provider programs or materials.
