Arkansas-licensed occupational therapists have an annual license renewal on the OT’s date of birth. Ten (10) hours of continuing education are required in order to renew a license. There are no limits on home study, and the board determines the contact hours awarded. AOTA approval is required. The course outline and certificate must be submitted 30 days prior to license expiration.

The reason for continuing education is to ensure the highest possible standards for the occupational therapist profession. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing condition.

Professional Development Resources is an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)approved provider of continuing education (#3159). The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.
